About Holistic Massage

 
Holistic simply means ‘whole’. A holistic massage incorporates and tailors a massage to each individual client, every visit.

Do you suffer with pain due to your occupation and/or postural difficulties? Are you suffering with depression, anxiety or chronic stress? Do you have issues with your digestive system? Do you suffer with any respiratory illnesses? Do you suffer with pain, especially in your back, neck and shoulders?

Illness, injuries, mental health and environmental factors are all taken into account in order to provide the very best massage possible. No massage is ever the same, for any client.

You may prefer a full body massage or specific areas of injury or pain to be massaged. Holistic massage will do this, whilst also connecting your mind and body together.

Massage is one the oldest forms of therapy! The benefits to our bodies through massage are extensive and massage can affect nearly every system:

At Bristol Wellbeing Massage some of the skills we use are breath work, joint mobilisations, deep tissue massage, simple lymph drainage, bone tapping, abdominal massage, fascial stretching, and neuro-muscular techniques. We also provide many other techniques to provide all of our clients with the ultimate massage experience.

All the oils we use are hypoallergenic.

If you have mobility issues, massage may be performed seated, side lying, sat up on the therapy table or lying down in a way that suits you and feels most comfortable.
